In front of my friend Elise's window, I began to spin and play, childlike as she snapped away with my camera. I somehow wanted to capture me doing Nia, to have a reflection to ponder for a while, another photo only to be put into a folder on my Apple.
What I see instead is me, swirling & twirling as life moves right along with me.
The movement of Nia may be captured on film (or digital), but it's the deep down commitment to the joy of movement that may not be so easily witnessed; with the exception of pure joy written across my face..........
